Smells Like Dog is an amazing story about a bored farm boy who dreams of being a great adventurer like his uncle. When his uncle dies he is given his dog who cannot smell "“ except for treasures. Homer leaves the farm with the dog to go on a mysterious adventure in the city to find out about his uncle's disappearance and the legacy he left behind. Middle schoolers will love the "outlandishly funny characters" in this book.
