Spring 2010

2009 was supposed to bring about change, but ended up being a year of chaos, with jobs lost, homes foreclosed, big businesses and small businesses going out of business, and animals being dumped at shelters in horrifying numbers.
 

Winter 2009

The American Dog magazine is proud to be a leader in the publishing industry by bringing awareness of animal issues, including the nationwide pet overpopulation epidemic, the horrific cycle of animal abuse in puppy mills, the need to promote adoption of pets from our shelters and rescue groups and the importance of spaying or neutering your dogs and cats.

WOOF! Cassie here. I talked my mom into letting me write her publisher's note and I have to say, this is my favorite issue of The American Dog so far!

We are so proud to bring you—our readers—this inaugural issue of The American Dog Magazine! We took The Colorado Dog and The Chicago Dog magazines and expanded them both into one huge NATIONAL dog magazine (164 pages strong) for our fall issue!
